What is Dedicated Host (DDH)

Dedicated Host (DDH) is a cloud solution specially optimized by Alibaba Cloud for enterprise customers. It offers physically isolated resources, more flexible deployment, richer configurations, and higher cost performance, effectively reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) for enterprises migrating to the cloud.

Compared with shared hosts (multi-tenant environments), DDH provides a single-tenant runtime environment based on Alibaba Cloud's virtualization services. You exclusively use all physical resources of the host, while enjoying the flexibility and cost-efficiency of cloud services.

Product Specifications

DDH refers to a cloud host whose physical resources are exclusively used by a single tenant. As the only tenant, you do not share any physical resources with others. You can also access physical attributes of the server, including CPU sockets, core count, memory size, and create ECS instances based on the host's supported instance types.
